Dear ILCA members, colleagues and friends,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 4^th ILCA Annual Conference on 10-12 September 2010 in Montreal, QC, Canada.

After successful meetings both in Europe and North America, we are now confident in saying that ILCA has strongly established itself as the premier forum for the exchange of the latest basic and clinical science by taking a transversal and multidisciplinary approach to the field of liver cancer. This year we are returning for a second time to North America and convening in the beautiful city of Montreal with fellow scientists and clinicians from all horizons.

The multidisciplinary approach to liver cancer characterising our Association will be reflected in the format of the scientific programme, which will include:

• Two state-of-the-art lectures, delivered by state-of-the-art speakers will focus on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Imaging of HCC and Early Diagnosis and Relevant experimental models of HCC.
• Three cutting-edge symposia will present the latest information on Management and outcomes of HCC in Asia, Novel targets and emerging therapies and Assessing response in HCC – Revisiting RECIST.
• A special lecture on miRNA and HCC: biology and prognostic significance.
• Six general sessions dedicated to oral communications (35 oral presentations), and the poster exhbition, where over 200 posters will be displayed during a dedicated two hour slot in the programme.
• Five luncheon workshops, offering you the opportunity to sharpen your skills and expand your expertise during these highly interactive sessions.

You will also have many opportunities to network with colleagues from all over the world during the Welcome Reception, coffee breaks and lunches.

Industry sponsored symposia will be offered in the frame of the main programme, bringing you the latest developments and achievements of our industry sponsors, whom you will also meet in the exhibition area..
